COMMITTEES


TRAINING

CHAIR: Adam Woodrow 
Responsible for coordinating training efforts with the various state training agencies for all segments of the association's labor force (i.e. basic training to Executive training sessions).

LEGISLATIVE 

CHAIR: Gerard Coletta
Responsible for reviewing and disseminating legislative acts that may affect the Association at the state or federal level.

AWARDS AND RECOGNITION 

CHAIR: Karen Leary
Responsible for soliciting and selecting personnel, departments, or outside agencies for annual awards for selected criteria approved by the MACLEA Association.

INTERNATIONAL ASSOCIATION OF CHIEFS OF POLICE (IACP)

LIAISON: Peter Carnes
Reports to the Association on any new developments in the IACP and issues that may affect the Association or College and University law enforcement.

INTERNATIONAL ASSOCIATION OF CAMPUS LAW ENFORCEMENT ADMINISTRATORS (IACLEA)

North Atlantic Regional Director: James Pollard
Reports to the Association on any new developments in IACLEA and issues that may affect the Association or College and University law enforcement.

MASSACHUSETTS CHIEFS OF POLICE ASSOCIATION (MCOPA)

LIAISON:  Ernest Leffler
Reports to the Association on any new developments in MCOPA and issues that may 
affect the Association or College and University law enforcement.


WEBSITE COMMITTEE

CHAIR: Jan Fuller

CHAIR
Responsible for design, implementation, and upkeep of the Association website in order to promote the most professional image possible.

MEMBERSHIP COMMITTEE 

CHAIR: Open
Responsible for developing and maintaining active members in the Association.

CRIME PREVENTION COMMITTEE

CHAIR: Open
Responsible for reviewing and creating crime prevention brochures or multimedia presentations relating to crime prevention topics affecting the college community. Assist in coordinating crime prevention-related training programs for campus police personnel.
