John M. King Scholarship for Advancement and Education

MACLEA offers two (2) $500.00 Scholarships that are open to family members of members in good standing with the Massachusetts Association of Campus Law Enforcement Administrators. This was done as a tribute to one of the great leaders in our field, Boston College Police Chief John M. King (ret.).

We are pleased to announce that Chief King will review the nominations for the determination of these 2 scholarship awards, as part of this year’s Awards Committee.

Below outlines the eligibility for applying.

Eligibility and Application

Must be a child, grandchild, or other family member of a MACLEA member in good standing as determined by the Executive Board at the time of nomination.
Must be accepted for full-time enrollment as a freshman, transfer student, or may be currently enrolled at an accredited College or University.
Must be a student in good standing with a 2.5 or higher grade point average.
