As you are aware, Michigan State University experienced a tragic Active Shooter event on February 13, 2023.

On behalf of the Massachusetts Association of Campus Law Enforcement Administrators, I would like to express our sincere condolences to the families and friends who lost their loved ones and to the entire Michigan State University Community.

We pray for the five victims who remain in the hospital in critical condition and for the students, staff, and faculty who have been traumatized by this horrific event.

Swift and heroic action was taken by Law Enforcement preventing further loss of life; we keep those Officers in our hearts as they too have lived this trauma.

I would like to ask that all members join me in keeping the Michigan State University community and the families of the victims in your thoughts and prayers.
