A Message from Massachusetts State Police Lieutenant Colonel

Sharon Costine

Good afternoon MACLEA members,

After proudly serving 27 years with the Massachusetts State Police I am retiring  August 1st.  I have truly been blessed to have been able to serve this Department and I  have enjoyed every day of my 27 years.

I have had the honor to work with so many dedicated MACLEA members.

I have had the privilege of overseeing the successful graduation of several SSPO Academy classes.

I thank each and every one of you for the support you have given me over these many years, to the Academy staff , the Certification Unit and to the MSP.

MACLEA members are so dedicated to the campus police profession. I know that your association has worked very hard over many years to increase awareness of the level of professionalism  within your  organization  through its partnerships with ICLEA and the MCOPA.

I wish you all health, happiness and best of luck in all your future endeavors.

With respect and admiration,

Lt. Colonel Sharon S.Costine
